Ahh...the Solitude of Rant
The dust has settled and now the Dems have control of Congress. The conservative movement(or bowel movement, I can't tell those two apart)is over. After America pulled the handle on the political toilet and flushed, what will happen next?
Barring the Second Coming of Christ, we shouldn't see a conservative majority in a generation. That's the good news.
While I don't believe the Dems will venture off into uncharted territory requiring boldness, I do think they will be too self-conscious, especially in front of the media, to exercise serious leadership.
But here is what I do know. The deregulation and consolidation of media interests since 1980 has led in 2006 to a fourth estate crisis. Those who work for these huge interests...writers, TV talking heads, blubbering radio nuts...you know who I'm talking about...all of these "news" people must do the bidding of their bosses or else they will be kicked out of the "kewl kidz" clubhouse.
So what is it their bosses want of them? I thought you would never ask. Their bosses want them to NOT, repeat NOT, offend conservatives or the Republican Party. Why? Because these bosses know which party hands over more of the keys to the media kingdom. Can't offend the hand that feeds you tender deregulation morsels now, can ya'?
Conservatives believe in the God of the market. What I lovingly call "The Supply and Demand" God. All hail his name. At the heart of this religion is the belief that the state should just stand aside, let go and let God "work his wonderful way" in the news and media industry. This belief has led to consolidation of information delivering systems in our country as well as the world at large. Consolidation which places more and more avenues of information delivery into the hands of fewer and fewer corporate hands. Thus, news narratives can be controled much more easily, let alone the financial bottom lines of these behemoths.
Summarizing then, I believe the information delivery agents(news anchors, TV heads,typical assholes) will begin a serious and relentless attack on the new Dem majority. Indeed, it has already started and the Dems don't take control until January.
The same cocksuckers(apologies to fellatio participants everywhere) who couldn't ask Commander Crashcup a serious question for 5 full years without pissing in their pants, will now, miraclulously, find their voices again, just like in the Clinton's Penis days.
Patrick Leahy, incoming chairman of the judiciary, will become, before your very eyes, a senile old fart who needs to step down. Nancy Pelosi, new Speaker, will be constantly critized about her hair and clothing with deep discussions about whether she's really just another cunt-bitch, like Hillary, or not. Ted Kennedy's red nose should be another point of contention, and of course, it should be. Russell Feingold? Just another cheese-eating surrender monkey, I mean Christ, what do they make in Wisconsin, huh? huh?
In conclusion, Americans, despite the shilling for the White House and the GOP done by the MSM, collectively raised their middle fingers and rejected these criminals in the election. Perhaps it is time now for Americans to face the media pricks and do a Dick Cheney. No, no, not shoot 'em in the face....just tell'em like the Dick told Pat Leahy...go fuck yourself. Too harsh? Helllll no.
